The landlord was very very rude and obnoxious. the rent only had to be a day late and we would get complained about. a beautiful luxury apartment which was NOT looked after by the previous tenant - we cleaned it up nicely to the best of our ability (everything but the tobacco damaged flooring which we couldnt get permission to replace) and it looked so much better - but as the landlord hadnt inspected it himself before we moved in and made the changes (we were not aware of this), we got charged £900 for REPAINTING and CLEANING EXPENSES! who was repainting it, Van Gogh?! Crazy. Terrible landlord!
